Work Place Assessments
Our Workplace Assessment service provides a base from which to develop a Graduated Return to Work (GRTW) programme, ensuring that realistic goals and timeframes for return to work are set.
The service will help employers and employees understand what barriers a person may face when they return to either their previous workplace in the same or a new role. When a return to their existing employer is no longer possible this service can help understand what kind of work the person can do, which will then help guide any future vocational activity.
Our case managers can visit the workplace to analyse the suitability of the employee’s usual or proposed work duties and the work environment; ensure the employer and employee are fully engaged to give any GRTW plan every opportunity to succeed; assess the need for supportive or ergonomic equipment; evaluate workplace and job modifications that may help achieve the optimum outcome.
Typical engagements for Argent include assessments where Employees are:
At work but struggling to cope with their normal duties
Planning on returning following a spell of long or short term absence
Returning to work following a Fit Note stating they are fit for some kind of work
Deciding if they can ever return to work for the same employer following ill-health or injury
Seeking new employment and require guidance on what tasks they are capable of performing
Argent have worked with large corporate clients and small single site organisations providing practical opinions on how the employer and the employee can achieve a successfull and sustainable return to work
